Aaron Finley

Aaron Finley, beloved son of the late Mae Finley and Joe Lewis Finley, was on May 18, 1970, in Crystal Springs, MS. He departed from this world on February 13, 2024, at Merit Health River Region in Vicksburg, MS. Aaron's life was one filled with simple pleasures and genuine connections.

Aaron's was a life well-lived through the lens of simplicity and kindness. Growing up in Crystal Springs, he attended Copiah County Schools where his curious mind and friendly nature endeared him to many. Aaron found joy in the simple things - making money through hard work, engaging in conversations that mattered, offering a helping hand to anyone in need, and exploring his surroundings on his bicycle with a sense of freedom.

In the hearts of those who survive him, Aaron leaves behind a legacy of love and camaraderie. He is survived by his cherished children: Shantella Hooks, Natassia Gilmore, Adrianna Hart, and Demetrius Hooks. His presence will be deeply missed by his three grandchildren - Jr, Paris, and Camari.

Among those who mourn his passing are his siblings: Josie Finley, Berinda Finley, Marilyn Finley (Robert), Mary Finley, Joe Finley, Cynthia Miller; as well as Willie Minter. Additionally, he leaves behind a multitude of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will forever hold memories of him close to their hearts.

A visitation to honor Aaron's life will take place on February 23rd at Heritage Funeral Services in Terry, MS. A Celebration of Life ceremony will follow on February 24th at Faith Tabernacle M.B. Church in Crystal Springs.

Aaron Finley's presence touched the lives of many with his genuine spirit and warm demeanor. As we bid farewell to him in this physical realm, may we find comfort in the cherished moments and memories he has left us all to treasure. Rest in peace, Aaron Ladell Finley - your light continues to shine brightly in the hearts you have touched.
