Anthyone Burrell Sr

Mr. Anthyone "Charlie" Burrell, Sr., beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend was born July 16, 1969, in Hazlehurst, MS to Mary Shannon and C.W. Burrell.

He spent most of his life in Crystal Springs, MS where he built lasting relationships with family and friends and created a life filled with love and purpose. 

On July 3, 1993, Anthyone was united in holy matrimony to Mary Sandifer. From this union three beautiful children were born, who became the center of his world. 

Anthyone received his education through the Copiah County School System and later attended Hinds Community College. A hardworking and dedicated man, he pursued his passions with great joy. He loved driving trucks, fishing, cooking and caring for his animals-horses, chickens and cows. Known for his giving heart, he was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Mary Shannon of Crystal Springs, MS; his father, C.W. Burrell, Sr. of Chicago, IL; his brothers, C.W. "CeCe' Burrell, Jr. of Hazlehurst, MS, Floyd "Ray Ray" Burrell(Shawn) of Hazlehurst,MS and Kenneth "Nate' Burrell of Crystal Springs, MS; his daughters: Marissa "Moochie" Burrell (Zanielle  Banks) of Jackson, MS and Jessica "Snoop" Burrell of Jackson, MS; his son, Anthyone Burrell, Jr. (Michelle Carter) of Jackson, MS and his precious grandchildren; Ja'Quan Frelix, Jr. and Madison Frelix.

He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, extended relatives and dear friends who will remember his love, laughter and generosity.

Anthyone's legacy is one of family, faith, hard work and kindness. Though he will be deeply missed, the love  he shared will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew him
