Antonio Lomont Anderson Sr. , affectionately known as Charlie, passed away on September 21, 2023, at the age of 44. He was born on January 22, 1979, in Terry, Mississippi, to Betty Jean Anderson. Antonio was raised by the late Shirley Ann ''Doll'' Floyd Anderson and carried her memory with him throughout his life.

Antonio had a deep love for his family and friends. He was a dedicated and skilled mechanic who spent ten years working for Jatran Transportation. His expertise and passion for fixing cars led him to establish his own business. The community recognized him as a talented mechanic, attracting customers from miles around who sought his services.

Outside of work, Antonio enjoyed immersing himself in the great outdoors. He found solace in activities such as cooking, fishing, hunting, and car racing. These hobbies brought him immense joy and allowed him to embrace his adventurous side. Furthermore, Antonio tirelessly supported his community whenever they needed a helping hand. His willingness to lend assistance showcased his kind-hearted nature and made a positive impact on those around him.

Antonio's passing is mourned by those closest to him. He is survived by his loving and caring wife, Jamie A. Anderson, who will forever cherish their memories together. Antonio also leaves behind his son, Antonio L. Anderson Jr., who will carry on his father's legacy.

In addition to his immediate family, Antonio is survived by four sisters: Mikasa Anderson, Lotina (Houston) Mackline, Latonia (Johnny) Lester, and Tabitha Knight; three brothers: Keith Anderson, Anthony Anderson, and Sherman (Bernita) Anderson; and Uncle Don (Maggie) Anderson.

He held a special place in the hearts of many others as well. Among them are niece Brooklyn Marie Holly, nephews Gregory Stringer, Caleb and  Brycen Tillman , Majour Glasper and goddaughter Paris Stringer. Antonio also had close relationships with brother-in-law Gregory (Angie) Stringer, Lawrence (Lisa) Tillman, Calvin Tillman, sister-in-laws Barbara (Jerry) Glasper and Linda (Buck) Nicholson.



The services to honor Antonio's life will take place as follows:
- Visitation will be held on October 6, 2023, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Services, LLC located at 421 West Cunningham Ave., Terry, Mississippi 39170.
- A Celebration of Life will be held on October 7, 2023. The service will start at 12:00 PM at Clear Creek M.B Church situated at 244 Bradley Ln, Crystal Springs, Mississippi 39059.
- Antonio will be laid to rest in the Spring Hill Christian Center Cemetery in Raymond, Mississippi. The burial ceremony will commence at 1:45 PM on the same day.

Antonio Lomont Anderson touched the lives of many with his warm heart and exceptional skills as a mechanic. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to his craft. Although he is gone from our sight, his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
