Antrunette unzell Loyd

Antoinette Unzell Loyd was born on February 7, 1962, to the union of the late Nolly  and Eva Mae Loyd in Detroit, Michigan. She was called from labor to eternal rest on June 19, 2026. Antoinette was raised in a loving family where faith in God and the importance of family were instilled from an early age. Her faith in Christ served as the foundation of her life, guiding her with strength, compassion and grace. She was known for her kind heart, loving hugs and those unforgettable kisses on the cheek. Her love for her family and friends was evident in everything she did and she leaves behind a legacy of love generosity and unwavering faith.

Antoinette treasured time spent with those she loved most. She was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend whose gentle spirit and caring nature touched countless lives. She will forever be remembered for the joy, she brought to every gathering, the wisdom she shared and the unconditional love she gave so freely.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nolly and Eva Mae Loyd; her sister, Paula Brooks; her sister, Vera Loyd Conley; her brother, Glenn Loyd and other beloved family members who welcomed her into eternal rest. Antoinette leaves to cherish her precious memory her children. Deshawn Loyd, Cheryl Smith(Jason); her beloved grandchildren, Jason Jr., Raven, Shania, Josiah, Aaliyah and Jaliyah; her sister, Delorious Loyd; her beloved niece and sister in heart, Kenyada Gilbert; brothers, Roger Smith, Gerald Loyd and Laconny Loyd.

Though our hearts are saddened by her passing. We rejoice in knowing that she is now at peace in the presence of the Lord. Her love, strength and beautiful spirit will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved her.
