Arnita Bryant

Arnita Bryant, 60, of Jackson, MS passed away on March 3, 2026. She was born on July 24, 1964, Flora, MS.

Arnita was known for her straightforward spirit, her caring heart and her love for life. She found joy in the simple and meaningful things-cooking meals for the people she loved listening to good music, and surrounding herself to with good company. Her presence brought warmth to every room she entered, and those who knew her understood that her love was genuine, honest and deeply felt. Arnita was a woman who loved and was loved in return.

She leaves behind two sons, who were the pride of her life; her eldest son, Roger Bryant and her youngest son, Berlin Bryant. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie Lee Bryant and Fannie Mae Bryant.

Arnita is also survived by her loving siblings: her twin sister, Juanita Bryant, her brother, Ricky Burse and her sister, Dorothy Ann Burse. She was preceded in death by her brother, Lester Earl Bryant. Along with her family carry her memory in their hearts.

Arnita's life was one marked by strength, love and authenticity. She lived her life in her own way-honestly, boldly and with a heart open to the people she cared about.
