Baby Malijah Davis

Malijah Ranae Davis, lovingly known as Baby Malijah, graced this world with her presence on July 27, 2023, in Jackson, MS, to her adoring parents Catlin Davis and Laronda Michelle Neal. Malijah's life was a testament to love and joy, radiating through her beautiful smile that touched the hearts of all who knew her.

Tragically, on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at U.M.C., Malijah embarked on her next journey, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and happiness that will forever be cherished by those whose lives she touched.

Malijah is survived by her grieving parents Catlin Davis and Laronda Michelle Neal; her grandmothers Merlene Tobias and Linda Faye Taylor; great-grandmothers Mintha Marie Neal, Pearlie Mae McGowan, and Ada Mae Taylor; grandfathers Leronnie R. Neal, Malcolm Davis, and Joakin Tobias; her twin brother Elijah Randell Davis; five other brothers Messiah, Jacalin, Malcolm, Lewis, and Catlin; three sisters Jennifer, Myriah, and Mykiah; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends from F.U.T.R.E Daycare Center.

Services to honor and remember Malijah will be held at Heritage Funeral Services in Terry on March 1 for visitation from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A final farewell will take place at Autumn Woods Cemetery in Jackson on March 2 with a graveside service starting at 3:00 PM.

Though Malijah's time among us was brief, the memories she created and the love she shared will live on eternally in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace.
