Baby Nova Kae Brown

Our precious baby girl, Nova Kae, entered this world on August 5, 2026, full of life, kicking, and swinging immediately showing everyone that although she was tiny, she was mighty. From her very first moments, Nova had a presence much bigger than her little body, and she was surrounded by an immeasurable amount of love.

For fourteen precious days, Nova gave her family memories that will last a lifetime. Every tiny movement, every touch, every time she wrapped her little hand around a finger, and every moment spent beside her became something we will forever treasure.

From the moment Mommy knew Nova was coming, she loved her completely. Nova was wanted, prayed for, dreamed about, and cherished. Mommy was committed to being the very best mother she could be—to protect her, nurture her, teach her, encourage her, and make sure she grew up never questioning how deeply she was loved.

There were so many dreams for Nova.

We dreamed about bringing her home. We imagined her first smile, first words, and first steps. We imagined birthdays and Christmas mornings, bedtime stories and school days, laughter filling the house, family vacations, teenage conversa-

tions, and watching our beautiful little girl grow into the woman she was meant to become. We wanted all of it.

Instead, Nova gave us fourteen days that taught us something we will carry forever: a lifetime of love does not have to be measured by years. Nova was tiny, but she was incredibly strong. She fought hard, and through every moment, she was surrounded by people hoping, praying, and loving her.

To Mommy, Nova was her “Sweet Baby,” her “Kicking Kae,” and a piece of her heart that will remain there forever. She was the baby girl Mommy prayed for, dreamed of, and loved with every part of her being. From the moment Nova began kicking inside her, their bond was something special. Those tiny kicks became a language of their own—a reminder that her sweet girl was there, growing, fighting, and making her presence known. “Kicking Kae” wasn’t just a nickname; it was who Nova was—feisty, strong, and full of life from the very beginning. Mommy will forever carry the memory of those kicks, her tiny hands, and every precious moment she was blessed to call herself Nova’s Mommy.

To Daddy, she was his precious “Ladybug,” his beautiful baby girl who had him wrapped around her tiny finger from the very beginning. Daddy was the first person Nova saw when she entered this world and the first familiar voice she heard welcoming her into it. From those very first moments, their bond was something special. Their time together was far too short, but the love between a daddy and his little girl will last forever. She will always be Daddy’s little Ladybug.

On August 19, 2026, our sweet Nova departed this life, leaving behind tiny footprints on this earth and an enormous im- print on our hearts.

Although her life was brief, Nova's life mattered.

She was here.

She was loved.

She was cherished.

She was our daughter.

And nothing—not time, distance, nor death—will ever change that.

Nova leaves to cherish her beautiful memory her loving parents, Monique and Kedrick, along with a family who loved her deeply and will forever be grateful for every precious moment they were given with her.

We will continue to speak Nova's name. We will celebrate her birthday. We will tell her story. We will carry her with us into every chapter of our lives.

And whenever a little ladybug appears, we will think of our sweet girl and remember that sometimes the smallest lives leave the greatest footprints.

Our hearts ache because we wanted an entire lifetime with you, Nova. But we will forever be grateful that for fourteen beautiful days, we had the privilege of loving you, holding you, and calling you ours.
