Barry Adams

Barry Adams, beloved husband, brother, father, and grandfather, passed away on May 13, 2024, in the comfort of his own home in Crystal Springs, Mississippi. He was born on November 19, 1958, to the late Robert Adams Sr. and Lucille Woods Adams. Bary lived life full of love, laughter, and joy.
Barry married the love of his life, Linda Alford Adams, in 2000, and together raised three wonderful children: J'Nessa, Corey, and Tyrant. Barry was a proud grandfather of eight grandchildren, who brought him endless happiness and joy.
Known for his quick wit and infectious smile, Barry was a cherished member of his community. He graduated from Hazlehurst High School in 1978 and went on to build a successful career with Walmart Distribution where he fostered many friends.
Barry will be remembered for his kind heart, his love of storytelling, and his unwavering dedication to his family. He touched the lives of all who knew him and will be deeply missed. He leaves to cherish his memories to his loving wife, Linda Adams; one daughter, J'Nessa Daniels Robinson (Reginald) of Hazelhurst, Ms; two sons, Corey Adams of Houston, TX and Tyrant Alford of Crystal Spring, Ms; eight grandchildren, Aubriella Shannon, De'Quarrius Daniels, Ra'Ziyah Robinson, Jermain Smiley, Caleb Adams, Cayden Adams, Bella Smith, and Bryson Smith; two sisters, Bernice Adams and Carolyn Rockingham of Hazelhurst, Ms; two brothers, Robert Adams Jr. and Carl Adams of Hazelhurst, Ms ; four sisters-in-law; Nora Martin, Dianne Powell, Gwendolyn Bates all of Crystal Spring, Ms and Barbara Hudson(Willie) of Jacksonville, FL; five brothers-in-law, Walter Alford, Thomas Alford, Rudolph Alford(Crystal) of Georgetown, Ms and James M. Alford (Loraine) of Gary, IN; one very special friend and niece William and Synthia Smith of Crystal Spring, Ms and a host of other relatives and friends.
