Catherine Wilson

Mrs. Catherine Wilson was born on November 15, 1938, in Crystal Springs, MS, to the late Mr. Freddie Jenkins and Mrs. Lela Jenkins.

At an early age, she united with New Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church in Crystal Springs, MS, where she developed a strong foundation of faith. She was later united in holy matrimony to Mr. Morris Wilson of Crystal Springs, MS. Their union was blessed with four daughters.

Catherine was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family deeply. She enjoyed family outings, spending time with friends, and creating lasting memories with those she loved. She was a dedicated employee who worked for many years at Bernstein Shirt Factory and Tyson Foods.

On Monday, July 27, 2026, Mrs. Catherine Wilson peacefully departed this life at her residence on Purvis Drive.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Freddie Jenkins and Mrs. Lela Jenkins; her husband, Mr. Morris Wilson; her daughter, Geraldine Ayers; four brothers, Shelly Jenkins, Lathery Jenkins, Willie James Jenkins, and Roosevelt Jenkins; and two sisters, Ailean Wilson and Eula Mae Jenkins.

Mrs. Wilson leaves to cherish her loving memory her daughters: Linda Minor (Harvey) of Crystal Springs, MS; Ollie Faye Bass (Johnny) of Crystal Springs, MS; and Brenda Wilson of Copperas Cove, TX. She is also survived by her sisters, Rosie Wilson and Mamie Ford, both of Crystal Springs, MS; five grandchildren, Indria Ayers and Kiara Ayers of Crystal Springs, MS, Stanonio Ayers of Dallas, TX, Ariel Harris of Copperas Cove, TX, and Tarva Martin (Von Eric) of Gluckstadt, MS; one stepson, Sylvester Wilson of Peoria, IL; four step grand children; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends. Though she will be greatly missed, her love, faith, and cherished memories will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
