Curtis Adams, affectionately known as "Pete" was born on October 22, 1950, to the late Woodrow & Melissa Adams, Sr. of Crystal Springs, MS. He departed this earthly life on November 2, 2025, at the Copiah County Medical Center.
Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow & Melissa Adams, Sr. and his siblings, Larry Adams(Sherry), Woodrow Adams, Jr., Roosevelt Adams, James Adams(Zubie), Mosetta Gurly, Mary Brown and Naomi Freemon.
Curtis attended Crystal Springs High School and was employed for many years at Piggly Wiggly. He also worked for the City of Crystal Springs, contributing to his community in various capacities. Known for his strong personality and sense of humor, Curtis was a beloved figure among family and friends. He enjoyed sharing stories of the past and reminiscing about days gone by. He loved sitting on the hill, soaking up the sunshine and taking in the view. His nicknames and playful teasing, especially "Pete" brought joy and laughter to everyone around him.
Curtis leaves behind his siblings, Rita Dell Adams, Sr.(Rosa)(Crystal Springs, MS), Calvin Adams(Canton, MS) Rudean Adams, Geraldine Adams-Thompson(Kansas City, MO) and Janice Adams(Crystal Springs, MS) along with a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great nephews, relatives and friends.
His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
