Mr. Delvin Jerome King was born on July 20, 1961, to the late Earl "Buddy" and Vernon "Snookie" King who proceeded him in death. He joined New Zion United Methodist Church at an early age under the leadership of Rev. Coleman Turner. He attended the Mississippi Job Corps Center.
Delvin was married Dianne Fisher King who proceeded him in death; a brother; Billy M. King proceeded him in death as well.
Delvin known as "King Cobra" was truck driver and mechanic. He was employed by Evans Trucking, Wilson Trucking, White Sands Trucking, Big M Trucking and Davis Demolition & Trucking. He was always there to assist others by repairing their vehicles during a breakdown. Delvin was a happy person and enjoyed life to the fullest, always full of jokes to make you laugh and fun to be around wherever he went. Riding motorcycles was also one of his greatest joys in life. He leaves us with an abundance of laughs, lies and smiles. He is a person in our lives that will never be replaced.
Delvin departed this life and gained his wings on June 17, 2026. Delvin leaves to cherish his memories two-step children, April and Cory Fisher.; four sisters, Nedra Dabney of Jackson, MS; Yolanda King of Crystal Springs, MS; Nikita King of Jackson, MS and Paris (Tae) O'Neal of Houston, TX; two brothers, Earl(Sharde) Williams of Hazlehurst, MS and Willie Earl Williams, of Crystal Springs, MS. He also leaves memories to his nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who he loved dearly.
