Eric Jarrod Fields was born October 1, 1984, in Jackson, MS at UMMC to Henry and Cynthia Fields. He completed his earthly journey and transitioned to his heavenly home on Wednesday, September 18, 2024.
Eric accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Salem MB Church. He had a passion of welding, detailing and truck driving.
His favorite pastimes were going to the racetrack and Cooper Downs and . having family time every Sunday with his family at his home. He was a great man, husband, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, friend, and was deeply loved by them all especially his in-laws and his phat girl. He was truly jack of all trades and will be deeply missed.
Eric found his wife as they were best friends at school and he married Kimberly Lee Fields on April 27, 2013. They laughed, cried, made up and were truly soulmates until the end. The love they shared will remain forever.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and maternal grandmother.
Eric leaves to cherish his memories; his loving wife, Kim; five children, Alisia Fields, Kaleb Terrell, Alanna Tillman, Kenyon Williams(KJ) and his "phat girl", Kyla Fields, as he affectionally called her; mother and father, Henry and Cynthia Fields; one brother; Derrick (BRE) Fields; grandfather, Roosevelt Jones; father and mother-in-love, Joe and Grace Lee; special friends and family, David Dixon, Nick Short, Alphonso West, Tynise Jones, Reginald Shakespear, Andreco Jones, Kameron Flower, Joshua Holly, Pac-Man, and George (Allen) Gant; he loved his aunt, Sheila Jones; second mom; Penny Kendricks, had a special bond with babies, Lily-Rose and Jo-Jo; he also leaves to cherish his love, his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and trucking buddies.
