Frettere Evans Stewart

Mrs. Frettere Evans Stewart, the beloved daughter of the late Vernon and Alice Evans, was born on June 19, 1943 in Crystal Springs,Mississippi.

She was preceded in death by her parents:  sister Joyce Dixon; her brother, Vernon Evans, Jr.; her two children, Aaron Evans and Perry Evans, and her husband, The late Davis Stewart. 

The Lord called her home on November 6, 2025 at her residence in Crystal Springs, Mississippi. 

At an early age, Mrs. Frettere Evans Stewart accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and united with Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Pastor D.D. Smith. She continued to grow in faith under the leadership  of Pastor R.D. Wells. 

She leaves to cherish her memories: eight grandchildren; Veronica Allen in who she raises as her daughter; nineteen great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
