Hannah Jamirale Deshun Jones

June 18, 2007 — August 16, 2025

Walnut Grove Ms

Just two months shy of her eighteenth birthday, Hannah made her earthly transition- a loss hat came as a shock to all who loved her. On Saturday, August 16, 2025 at the tender age of 18, her passing sent waves of grief throughout the Walnut Grove and Leake County communities. Hannah's sudden departure has left family and friends with profound sorrow, a reminder of life's fragile and and inevitable end.

Born in Leake County, MS on June 18, 2007, Hannah made her debut into this world bringing joy to her parents, Latisha Monique Lasha Webster and James Franklin Jones, Jr.

Hannah confessed her faith in Christ at an early age and joined Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Carthage, MS under the leadership of Rev. Dewayne Bloodshaw, now pastored by Rev. Lee Carson.

She graduated with the Class of 2025 from Leake County High School, where played in the band, a proud member of the Jr. High FBLA and actively participated in Girl Scouts. Through these activities, Hannah showed her dedication to learning, growing and giving back-leaving a lasting mark on both her school and community.

She proudly began her very first job at Piggly Wiggly in Sebastopol. She was getting ready to start online prerequisite courses, striving for the Nursing Program at East Central Community College and was excited about pursuing her dream of becoming a nurse.

Her Nanny and Papa, along with her TeTe Tiska, may have spoiled her, but they also helped shape her into the young woman-caring, loving, respectful and full of life. Hannah loved pampering herself, especially by getting her hair, nails, and toes done, which always highlighted her radiant smile. She shared a special bond with her grandmother, Bernice, spending countless moments talking and joking together. She also loved  to laugh with her Papa Clemon and her joyful spirit and beautiful smile brightened the live of everyone around her.

Hannah, treasured the time she spent talking on the phone with her mom and sisters, their conversations always filled with laughter, smiles and cherished memories. She adored her classmates, many of whom became very dear to her, sharing countless moments of joy and friendship. Among her closest companions were Carlin Johnson, Derrick White, Jr., and Breanna Joy, along with Jamie Lynn Henry, who she lovingly called her "bonus sister"

Hannah's life of love and giving will be deeply missed by many; yet the memories of her devotion to family and to others will forever be cherished. She leaves behind her loving parents, Latisha Webster and James Jones, Jr.; four sisters: Trinity and Harmony Jones, Amiya Williams, and Takiya Herndon; her paternal grandparents, Clemon and Janice Fortune and James Jones(Janette); her maternal grandmother, Regina Webster; and her play brother Brandon Wells. She is also remembered with love by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, a niece and countless friends.

Today the world lost a bright light. At just 18, Hannah inspired everyone around her with her determination, kindness, and joy. She faced life with courage and grace, and even in her short time here, she made an impact that will never be forgotten. May her beautiful soul forever rest in peace among the angels.
