Joe Robinson

Joe Nathan Robinson was born on September 17, 1942, to the late Joe Henry Robinson and Viola Robinson. He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Morningstar Church. 

Joe was born, raised and received his early education in the Crystal Springs School District, graduating from W.H. Holtzclaw High School in 1960. Upon graduation, he attended Utica Junior College. Shortly after he married the love of his life, Mary Alice Hill. to this union three daughters were born, Lisa Robinson, Iristine Robinson and Marla Robinson. He was extremely proud of his children and grandchildren Marcus Robinson, Gerald Robinson, Krystal Haynes and Dealjeen Haynes-Carter. He spoke of them often. He strived to leave a legacy of family of faith, hope and the importance of getting an education, knowing your family heritage, taking time to invest in yourself and the next generation.

Joe departed this life on July 25, 2025. He leaves to cherish his three beloved daughters, Lisa Robinson, Iristine Robinson, and Marla Robinson-Adeyemi; two grandsons, Marcus Robinson, and Gerald Robinson and two granddaughters Krystal Haynes and Dealjeen Haynes-Carter. He also leaves behind two brothers, James Robinson and Larry Robinson, a sister, Rosie Robinson-Sanders and a sister-in-law Kathy Robinson and a host of nephew, nieces, cousins, and friends.
