Family and Friends celebrate the life of John Albert Lloyd affectionately known to many as Big Daddy.
He was born in Bolton, MS on November 29,1942 to Albert Thomas and Elnora Moore; Special God Parents George Land and Ollie Land, who preceded him in death. John Albert was the 3rd of 12 siblings. He was also preceded in death by siblings, Walter Moore, Robert Earl Moore, Rosie Mae Davis, George Moore and Annie Williams, Foster Thomas, Emerson Thomas, Leon Thomas, James Thomas, Euler Mack, and Juanita Spann.
John Albert attended Meridian High School. As grown up, he was a entrepreneur as many would call him he worked very well with his hands. Sheraton Hotel as a Chef, a Bartender in Arkansas he worked at Kentucky Derby, Taxi Cab, Limo Driver, Liquor Store salesman in Memphis, TN and Big Daddy Shoe Shine for many years
Our family members left to cherish his memory include: Two children: John Lloyd Jr., and Darrin Lloyd, four brothers, James Denson, Joe Moore of Jackson, MS, Edward Moore, of Clinton, MS and Willie Thomas (Pamela)of Bolton, MS, six sisters; Evelyn Holliday, Dorothy Seaton and Sharon Moore, Annie Davis, Shirley McFarland and Flora Kency.; several nieces and nephews, including great nieces and great nephews very special cousins, friends and a host of other relatives and acquaintances.
