Justin K. Mims

Justin was born on April 26, 1997 to Keacha Mims and Darald Harvey, in Jackson, MS. From the time he arrived in the world, I knew he would be a great joy to my life and others. 

He was educated in Hinds and Jackson Public Schools; he transferred from Raymond High to Job Corps, where he graduated in 2010, leaving behind many memories for anyone who was apart of his life. 

Justin accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Rodney Divinity.

Justin had an innate ability to connect with others; make you laugh even when you were upset with him. He loved his family and friends and never met a stranger. He was very intuitive when it came to people.

Justin is preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother, Mother Katie O'Quinn, and his twin brother, Markus and Markese; his paternal grandmother, Mary Harvey.

He leaves behind his mother, Keasha; father, Darald; a loving son, Justin, Jr.; sisters; Shuntterrel(Melvin), Ariyuna, Destinee; his brothers, Devrine(Markeisha), Traidarius and Micah; his uncle Justin(Carol); grandmother, Bobbye, whom he had wrapped around his fingers; stepfather, Willie Datson, Jr. and a host of siblings, cousins, uncles, nieces, nephews, aunts and friends.
