Kanisha Cantrell Peel

Kanisha Cantrell Peel, also known as Neak, passed away on September 23, 2023, at the age of 34 in Jackson, Mississippi. Kanisha was born on March 21, 1989, in Jackson, Mississippi to the late Kathy Denita Peel & Willie James Bailey.  Kanisha was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend.

Kanisha had a vibrant personality and was known for her generous nature. She cherished spending time with her loved ones, especially her children, her nieces and nephews', family, and friends. She always made sure to be there for them. Kanisha had a special bond with her love Timothy Bryant. Her big heart touched the lives of many.

Kanisha was a 2007 graduate of Callaway High School in Jackson, MS.

She found solace in her faith and was a devoted member of Refuge Temple Church where she was baptized. She found comfort and strength through her religious beliefs.

Throughout her life, Kanisha held various positions that brought her joy and fulfillment until her health began to decline. She was a hardworking individual who made the most of every opportunity.

Kanisha leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She is survived by her Soulmate Mr. Timothy Bryant, son, Timothy Holcomb, and daughter, Miracle Bryant. She is also survived by her father, Willie James Bailey of Jackson, Mississippi, and her grandfather, Robert Woodall of Terry, Mississippi. Kanisha is also survived by her siblings, Willie Peel of Atlanta, Georgia, Willie James Bailey, Jr., Bobby Walls, Quanzee Walls, Kaneirdra Walls, and William Bailey of Jackson, Mississippi. Additionally, she leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Neak was preceded in death by her mother, Kathy Walls, and her grandmothers, Mrs. Irene Peel and Ms. Mary Bailey.

Kanisha Cantrell Peel will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
