Karie Jamale Stevens

Karie Jamale Stevens a.k.a “Karo” was born on January 22, 1976, in Chicago, Illinois to Mr. Kenneth Stevens Sr. and the late Mrs. Deanna Lee Perkins Stevens. He was the knee baby child of four children. Karie later moved to Crystal Springs, Mississippi where he graduated from Crystal Springs High School class of 1994.

Karie was an enthusiastic individual who enjoyed creating a lively atmosphere and making others laugh. Karie was also a diligent worker, with his most recent position being at Chili's restaurant as a line cook. Karie also enjoyed being in the house playing his video games and spending time with his children. Karie also enjoyed help raising all his nieces and nephews.

Karie was preceded in death by his mother Deanna Lee Perkins Stevens, brother Doremus Joshua Stevens, son Sir Stephan Stevens, paternal grandfather Willie Robert Stevens, paternal grandmother Geraldine Mapps Stevens, maternal grandfather Percy Pry Perkins, Sr., maternal grandmother Iris Elaine Perkins, Uncle Glenn Perkins and Uncle Jimmy Hart.

Karie leaves to cherish his loving memories with his father Mr. Kenneth Stevens Sr., his three children Travis Kendrick, Balla Stevens, and Kobe Stevens, his fiancee’ Jenifer Pace, one brother Mr. Kenneth Stevens Jr (Chezpere) of DeKalb, Illinois., one sister Mrs. KenAnna Stevens Williams (Chris) of Arlington, Texas. One bonus brother Maurice Stevens (Eureka) of Merrillville, In., one bonus sister Keesha Perkins of Clarkville, Tn., Six uncles Willie Stevens Jr (Sherry) of Terry, Ms., Morris Stevens (Linda) of St. Cloud, Mn., Allen Stevens (Stephanie) of Jackson, Ms., SanDonita Perkins of Champagne, Ill., Terrie Perkins of Calumet City, Ill., Pry Perkins (Detria) of Georgia., six aunties Carloyn Stevens of Byram, Ms., Gwen Allen (Arthur) of Jackson, Ms., Ethel Davis of Jackson, Ms., Iris Perkins (Nate) of Lynwood, Ill., Sherie Perkins (Terry) of Dolton, Ill. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives who loved him dearly.
