Lance L . Buster

Lance Lackey Buster was born August 14, 1983 to the late Ray Lackey and Audrey Buster, in Jackson, MS.  Lance had one sister, Tiffany Buster who preceded him in death. Lance united with Gallman Chapel A.M.E Zion Church at an early age. He graduated from Crystal Springs High School, Class of 2002 in Crystal Springs, MS.

Lance was a people person at heart, someone who truly enjoyed the presence of others and never met a stranger. Whether spending time with family, friends or simply sharing a conversation, he valued connections and companionship. He had a deep appreciation for cars and took pride in admiring and talking about them, often finding joy in the details and craftsmanship of each one. He was also actively involved in his community, regularly attending gatherings. Being present and engaged brought him great happiness and he cherished every opportunity to support and celebrate those around him. In his free time, he loved exploring good eating places, always on the lookout for a great meal to enjoy and share with others. Food was more than just a pleasure for him it was another way to bring people together. He found peace and quiet joy in life’s simple moments by walking. He was a devoted and loving family man. His heart belonged to his family, and he cherished every moment spent with them. 

He is survived by three brothers, Clifton Hicks Buster of Crystal Springs, MS., Yohann Marcelin of Rosenberg, TX, Ray Reese of San Jose, CA and one sister, Kinta Mercelin of Lafayette, LA. Two special nephews, Clifton Hicks Buster, Jr. and Malcom Xavier Buster, two special cousins, Santonio Lackey and Christopher Murray, Jr., and four special friends, Brian Banks, Ronnie Floyd, Joseph Owens and Corey Williams. A host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
