LaToya Lanese Neal was born February 17, 1982 in Jackson, Mississippi to Janice Louise and William Neal, Jr. LaToya departed this life on Wednesday October 1, 2025 at University of Mississippi Medical Center.
LaToya attended Crystal Springs High School. Years later she continued her Education by attending the School of Cosmetology at Virgina Tech Community College. LaToya pursued her everyday life being a hairstylist, assisting caregiver to her grandfather, the Late Johnnie B. Adams, and a housewife.
LaToya accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She joined Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the Late Rev. D. D. Smith.
LaToya married the love of her life, Eugene Neal, Jr. on November 1, 2003. To this union, three children were born:Eukigeni Angene, and deceased twins Eukigeni and Eugene Neal, III whom preceded her in death.
LaToya was an energetic outspoken person. She was the life of party and the light of everyone’s eyes. She loved her spouse, children, family and friends very much. There wasn’t a person she met that wasn’t impacted by her contagious sense of humor and smile. LaToya was well known for her laughter, jokes, and caring spirit by many near and far.She was a woman with many gifts and talents. She did not function off instinct, she always had a plan. She enjoyed life to the fullest. She always gave advice and a listening ear to those who needed it. She always lived through the spirit.
LaToya leaves to cherish her memories: her beloved husband Eugene Neal, Jr., her beloved parents, William and Janice Neal, Jr., her beloved mother and father-in-law, Eugene and Lena Neal, Sr., Hammond, LA; five beloved children, LaKiya (Keith) Dean, Houston, TX, Eukigeni Neal, Crystal Springs, MS, Spincerella Neal, Jonesboro, GA, Euniecka (Greg) Smith, Dallas, TX, and Shemar Barnes, Jackson, MS; four beloved sisters, Shanita Burrell, Terry, MS, Candace Jones, Jackson, MS, Diera Walker, Jandajah Neal, both of Crystal Springs, MS; two beloved sister-in-laws, Tarsha (Dedrick) Neal, Hammond, LA and Sheila (Stevie) Tyler; five beloved brother-in-laws, Joshua (Courtney) Neal, Fairfield, CA, Fredrick Richards, Houston, TX, Marvin (Fontisha) Richards, Crystal Springs, MS, Darry (Jennifer) Sibley and Octavius Neal, Jackson, MS; five grandchildren, Jordan Magee, Kennedy Dean, Rasiya Snow, Robert Hall, III, and Geonna Smith; beloved Godson, Joshua Christmas; a special beloved aunt, Shirley Norwood; a beloved special cousins, Deshunbra Jackson and Edward Curry; beloved special friends, Randy Mapp, Kathleen Williams, Stacy Davis, Demetrius McKinley, Anna Buie, and Joseph McKinley; and a host of nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
