Louise Bailey Wilson affectionately known as "Granny" was one of Gods precious gifts born to the late Robert & Bessie Bailey, Sr. on March 29, 1941. She was joyfully announced as the (6)sixth child. She obtained her educational foundation through Warm Springs and William Holtzclaw Schools. At an early she joined the Greater Pilgrim Rest M.B. Church where she faithfully served in various capacities until her health failed. Diligently and happily she exercised her faith in service to God in her daily walk. Granny enjoyed a wide range of activities including fishing, traveling with the wisdom team, traveling & cooking to name a few. She made certain that EVERYONE who entered her home was well fed & deeply loved. Granny possessed a sweet spirit.
She was tender hearted, gentle, patient and quick to forgive. She loved others as God Commanded. Her children, grandchildren & great grandchildren each held a special place in her heart. In these latter months, she struggled hard to reach the end of this race to receive the prize that God almighty through Jesus Christ had set aside for her. On Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at 12:00 noon, surrounded by family, Louise heard the voice of triumph and peacefully surrendered to celebrate another stage in Gods Magnificent plan. She was proceeded in death by parents. Bessie and Robert Bailey Sr. (7) Seven Siblings, Helen Cyprain, Eddie Gene, Beulah, Charles, Robert Jr., James Bailey and Robbie Ford. Her husband Charles E. Wilson, a daughter Bevely Taylor(Willie Ray Taylor) and a loving son-in-law, Eugene Jackson and a great granddaughter Bryleigh Gordan.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory(1) one brother Bobby Bailey (Emma) of Chicago, IL, sister-in-law, Juanita Ranson Bailey of Memphis, TN (4)four daughters, Demetrius Jones of Terry, MS,; Ms. Kathy Jackson of Byram, MS.; Ms. Valarie(Milton)Myles of Brandon, MS & Faye (Roger) Bell of Houston, TX, (3) Three sons, Larry Wilson of Northern Ireland, Dennis (Curtisene) Wilson of Clinton, MS and Kenneth (Yvonne) Wilson of Jackson, MS; (3) three grandchildren that she raised, Alisha and Audreiuna Taylor of Terry, MS; and Willie(Tiffany) Taylor of Jackson, MS; 23 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. A special friend of over 50 years; Sis. Ida Mae Fleming and a life long friend, Sis. Mary Alice Fields. Goddaughter, Latisha(Lucille)Willis, Deborah Flowers and Deanna Taylor.
