Marvin Bernard Lilley, was the only child of Ms. Bettye Jo Parmley and Mr. Hezekiah Watkins having been born on March 11, 1962. Sadly, his beloved mother and grandparents, Frankie Lee Lilley and Vera Odessier preceded him in death.
Marvin was united in holy matrimony to Loretta Easley on July 12, 1986. To this union, two sons were born - Brandon and Corey.
Marvin received his educational training at Callaway High School and Hinds Community College. His career spanned over 30 years as a Dock Supervisor at AAA Cooper Transportation.
Marvin dedicated his life to his Lord and Savior at an early age. As a young adult, he was faithful Deacon and Sunday School teacher at Free People M.B Church of Crystal Springs, MS. under the leadership of his late Father-in-law, Rev. Thomas Easley. Marvin later moved his membership to St. Thomas Missionary Baptist Church where he was a devoted servant as a Deacon until his health began to fail.
Marvin's leisure time was spent as an avid fisherman. Many days and long hours were spent on the banks with brother-in-law, James. He also enjoyed traveling and taking short weekend trips with his wife. He was a die-hard Cowboy's fan and those Thee I Love players.
