Family and friends celebrate the life of Nora Jean Dixon. Nora was born on January 8, 1949 in Crystal Springs, MS to the late Minnie Bell and James Dixon, Jr.
As a child, Nora became a member of St. Paul M.B. Church M.B. Church and later joined Christian Open Door Non-Denominational Church where she served as a faithfully member and dedicated usher until her health began to failed.
On January 25 , 2026, Nora was called home to rest in Jesus arms. She was a very loving and devoted caring mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, nannie, friend and so much to so many people.
Nora was preceded in death by her parents, James and Minnie Bell Dixon, Jr., four siblings, Anna Bell Allen, Beulah Mae Sojourner, Johnnie B. Dixon and Charzel Dixon. She was survived by two siblings, Joyce M. Allen and Annie P. Cooper both of Crystal Springs, MS
Nora leaves to cherish her precious wonderful memories behind with one daughter, Tekeshia(Jason) Rhymes of Crystal Springs, MS; two grandchildren, Bra'Daricus Dixon and Brianna Dixon both of Crystal Springs, MS.; six great grandchildren, Za'Mauie Dixon, Zaylin Dixon, Zakeiyah Dixon, Nilaiyah Dixon, Karter Dixon and Aubrielle Dixon all of Crystal Springs, MS and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
