**Obituary**
On May 29, 2024, the world said goodbye to a remarkable individual, Rev. Thomas Easley, who passed away at his home in Terry, Mississippi. Born on December 28, 1938, in Terry, MS, Rev. Easley's life journey was one of love, service, and unwavering faith.
Rev. Easley was a man of many talents and callings. Not only was he a devoted Under shepherd of God's people but also a dedicated entrepreneur who served his community through various businesses such as convenient stores and a tire shop. His career included roles at the City Of Jackson, Griffin Industries, Woodville Heights, and as a bus driver for Jackson Public Schools until his retirement.
Despite his numerous responsibilities, Rev. Easley always found time for his passions. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and most of all working with the elderly and young children—a man who truly embodied kindness and compassion.
Rev. Easley's impact extended beyond his professional and personal pursuits; he touched the lives of many through his ministry at several churches including St. Joseph M.B Church in Byram MS, Rhodes Creek M.B Church in Terry MS, Red Hill M.B Church in Crystal Springs MS, and Free People M.B Church in Crystal Springs MS.
He leaves behind cherished memories that will be forever held dear by his loving wife of over 50 years, Tomora Easley of Terry MS; seven children - Aaron Easley of Florida, Loretta (Marvin) Lilley of Terry MS, Bobbie (Paul) Greene of Byram MS, Betty (Earl) Robinson of Connecticut, Bobbie Manor of Clinton MS, Karen (Jonetta) Willis of Terry MS and James Willis of Bolton MS; 23 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
The visitation will take place on June 7th from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Services in Terry MS followed by the funeral service on June 8th from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Marl Grove Church of Christ Holiness USA in Byram MS.
In celebrating Rev. Thomas Easley's life and legacy today we mourn our loss but also rejoice in the memories he created and the lives he touched with his kindness and devotion. May he find eternal rest in God's loving embrace.
