Richard Dale Davidson

Richard Dale Davidson was born on May 12, 1955 in Fulton, Kentucky to the late Pete and Katherine Davidson. He transitioned peacefully, surrounded by and cared for by his loving wife, family and friends, to be with our Heavenly Father on April 28, 2025 at St Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS.

He attended South Fulton Tennessee School and completed his education in the service. He served 20 years in the United States Navy.

He later acknowledged being an atheist until the turning point of his life came with a life changing testimony that he received Salvation and began to follow after Jesus as his disciple. With that transformation came his good thing and favor as he and Judy Davidson were married for 27 years. 

Richard was preceded in death by his parents; Pete and Katherine Davidson; a sister, Delois Stanford and two sons: Travis N. and Taylor J Davidson.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Judy Richardson; daughter Julie Burpo of Jackson, MS; a son Terry(Youlanda)Higgins of Terry, MS, He also leaves to cherish his memories five grandchildren: Zach(Adyee) Simpson, Allen Burpo, Jordan(Logan)Pichard, Savannah(Ray) Gornes, Mason Higgins; five great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
