The Robert Earl Brent, Jr., story started on March 12, 2003 in Crystal Springs, Mississippi to the late Trina Lofton and Robert Brent, Sr.

Robert accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. He was a man of God and could tell you some scriptures like he knew his ABC’s. He had unconditional love, and he always expressed that, he never hesitated to say “I Love You.” Robert was a warrior, humbled, and very respectful. “The Chosen One!”

Robert know as “Betha” loved to dress and POP IT (as he would say). Betha was well known to every door he stepped into. Betha got a chance to enjoy life, experience independence, enjoy his baby girl, and have his own. His saying was “God Got Me” “You Straight.... Let’s POP It.

Robert’s movie came to an end on October 27, 2025. Robert was loved here and in eternal life. He was greeted by his mother, Trina Lofton; grandparents, Baby Ruth and Charles Brent and a host of aunts , uncles, friends and family.

Robert leaves to cherish his loving memory to his father, Robert Brent, Sr. of Crystal Springs, MS; two sisters, Rokesia (Josh) Brent of Crystal Springs, MS and Kelly (Don) Thomas of Jackson, MS; brother, Patrasheon Swinson of Yazoo,MS; a loving daughter, Rae’Gynn Barnes; a special friend, Kenyonceia Barnes; grandmother , Zubie Adams of Crystal Springs, MS and a host of uncles, aunties, cousins and friends.
