In Honor of Rosetta Terrell Bates

Rosetta Terrell Bates of Raymond, MS was called home by our Heavenly Father on September 12th, 2025, at 71 years of age.

Rosetta was preceded in death by Cornelius Bates (Husband), Robert Lovett Terrell (Father) and Evelyn Terrell Dixon (Mother).

She was survived by Michael Cornelius Bates (Son), Sean Michael Bates (Grandson), Calais Alexandria Bates (Granddaughter) along with a host of step siblings, extended family, friends and associates. Rosetta lived a life that touched many individuals in various ways. From her time in Jackson Public Schools, assisting with educating young minds for the future, to time in corporate America working with technology which helped society progress forward and finally, a civil servant which helped those in need during their desperate hour. She will be missed.
