Sarah made her entrance into this world on March 8, 1954, to the parentage of Jodie and Eunice Sandifer . Sarah attended the Copiah County School District where she graduated. She subsequently enrolled at Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA., where she earned a master's degree in education.

Sarah was employed in the Copiah County School District for several years a a teacher. She was later employed with the Department of Human Services as a Social Worker. Lastly, she was employed with the Rankin County Sheriff Department. Sarah grew up in the Bushy Creek Community and was a member of the church for many years. She later united with the Pentecostal Assembly of Faith where she served until he health failed.

She married George E. Taylor, Sr. two children were born to this union. She later married Welton Dixon, Jr. who proceeded her in death.

On Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at 6:30 PM God called her to her eternal home. She was preceded in death by her son George E. Taylor, Jr.: her parents, Jodie and Eunice Sandifer; three brothers, D.J., Jodie Jr. and Leonard Sandifer.

She leaves to cherish her memories, a loving daughter, Sheletha Marie Taylor. five grandchildren: Queennessa Taylor, Christopher Dixon, Edward Taylor, Daniel Taylor and Justin Taylor; four great grandchildren: Jabari Dixon, Autumn Dixon, E'kariya Washington and Ma Lani Taylor; four sisters, Essie, Mary(Albert), Irene and Ruth; three brothers, R.J, Toney and Staff Sargent(Retired) William E. Sandifer. A hos of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
