Tammy Lee Williams

Tammy Lee Williams, affectionately known as Tam, passed away on December 13, 2023, at Baptist Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi. She was born on September 17, 1970, in Crystal Springs, Mississippi to Lee Roy Williams and Betty Faye Williams. Tammy was a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend whose memory will forever be cherished.

Tammy received her education from Hazlehurst High School and went on to work at Advance Auto in Gallman, Mississippi for an incredible 18 years. She was dedicated and hardworking, always putting her best effort into everything she did. Tammy's commitment to her career was a testament to her strength and resilience.

Although Tammy excelled in her professional life, her true joy came from spending time with her family. She showered endless love and care upon her only daughter LaQuanda Williams and adored being a grandmother to her three grandchildren Tyesha Herbert, Kingston, and Landon Barnes. Tammy cherished every precious moment she spent with them and treasured the bond they shared.

Tammy's warm personality touched the lives of everyone she encountered. Her loving nature extended beyond her immediate family, as she had countless friends whom she considered part of her extended family. Those who knew Tammy could always rely on her for a listening ear or comforting words of wisdom.

In addition to being survived by her daughter LaQuanda and grandchildren Tyesha Herbert, Kingston, and Landon Barnes, Tammy is also mourned by her father Lee Roy Williams . She leaves behind two brothers: Michael (Terrica) Williams of Crystal Springs and Jason (Shawnece) Crisler of Atlanta, Georgia. Her memory will also be cherished by her sisters Erica (Vincent) Green and Sheena (Jeremy) Williams of Crystal Springs.

Tammy's legacy lives on through the many nieces and nephews who were fortunate enough to have been a part of her life. Her spirit will forever be carried by a host of aunts, uncles, and cherished friends who were touched by her kindness and love.

A visitation will take place on December 16, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Services, LLC located at 421 West Cunningham Ave., Terry, MS 39170. A Celebration of Life honoring Tammy's memory will be held on December 17, 2023, at Pine Grove M.B Church situated at 109 Crisler Ln, Crystal Springs, MS 39059. The service will commence at 2:00 PM.

Following the Celebration of Life, Tammy will be laid to rest in Pine Grove Cemetery located at 1011 Argenville Ln, Crystal Springs, MS 39059. Family and friends are invited to gather at the cemetery from 2:30 PM to pay their final respects.

Tammy Lee Williams was a remarkable individual whose impact radiated far and wide. Her infectious laughter and kind-hearted nature brought joy to all those around her. She may no longer be with us physically, but her memory will forever remain in our hearts.

In the words of Helen Keller, "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart." Tammy's love and light shall continue to be felt by all who were blessed enough to have known her.
