Thomas Earl Thompson

Thomas Earl Thompson was born on April 9, 1954. He was born to the late J. E. Thompson and Mary Lou Thompson.

Thomas accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Church.

Thomas attended Hazlehurst Public School and later worked for Edward Hines Lumber Company for many years until his health started to fail him.

Thomas was united in Holy Matrimony to Thelma Thompson and to this union, two daughters were born.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, one (1) brother Cecil Paul Thompson, and one (1) nephew Mr. Kenneth J. Thompson.

He leaves a legacy of unforgettable memories to his wife Thelma Thompson of Wesson, MS. His daughters: Sherry Joiner of Pearl, MS and LaTonya Teague (John) of Sallis, MS. He leaves behind four (4) sisters: Angela Thompson of Wesson, MS, Velechia Walker of Wesson, MS, Earlene Adams Sanders of Wesson, MS and Margret Thompson of Hazlehurst, MS; two brothers, James Edward Thompson of Hazlehurst, MS and Walter Thompson of Stone Mountain, GA; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren to continue his legacy and carry his touch. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; A special niece Rolanda Thompson Clark, a special great niece Alexus Thompson, special aunt Bessie Funchess-Belton, special cousin Everette “Ebb” Thompson, and a very special friend Frank Braxton.
