Jackson Ms

In Loving Memory of Ty'cia Ky'Morie Thomas On November 15, 2005, a beautiful soul came into this world in Jackson, MS. Ty'Niecia Ky'Morie Thomas, known for her loving nature, sense of humor, and caring heart, touched the lives of all who knew her. It is with heavy hearts that we announce her passing on February 23, 2024, at U.M.M.C in Jackson, MS.

Ty'Niecia, affectionately called Noosie & Monster by those close to her, had an infectious personality that lit up every room she entered. She attended Timber Elementary, Siwel Middle School, and was a senior at Forest Hill High School where she was set to receive her diploma in May 2024. Her spirit and determination were truly admirable.

From a young age, Ty'Niecia found solace in Christ and was baptized at Greater Pleasant Valley M.B. Church in Crystal Springs, MS. She later became a cherished member of Light Of The World Baptist Church in Jackson where she actively participated in the choir and the Daughters Of purpose Ministry.

Ty'Niecia's memory will forever be cherished by her surviving family: her loving mother Akeatra Murray Nelson; father Carl Thomas Sr. (Anesha); sisters Ka'Tarria (Michael) Pollard and Jonci Priest; brother Carl Thomas Jr.; nephew Keylin Thomas; maternal grandparents John and Charlean Harper, Tony Fraizer, Richard and Wanda Lenior, Allen Norwood; paternal grandparents Quincy and Ernest Coleman, Vonciel and Emanuel Kennedy, Frank and Wanda Brown; aunts, uncles, cousins; special friends; and other relatives who adored her dearly.

A visitation will be held on March 1st at Heritage Funeral Services in Terry from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM followed by a Celebration of Life service on March 2nd at Greater Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Crystal Springs starting at 11:00 AM.
