Vicky Porter Willis Collins

Mrs. Vicky Willis Collins was born on December 14, 1957, in Hazlehurst, MS, to the late Albert Lee and Maxine McKinzie Porter. She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Temple Christ Holiness Church in Hazlehurst, MS. She later joined Walking Upright Ministry under the leadership of Pastor Lewis Dixon where she served faithfully. 

Vicky attended Crystal Springs High School and graduated in 1975. She was a woman who had compassion for everybody, no matter who it was. She had the gift of taking care of family from her mother and father to all of her siblings; she did it with a loving heart and unwavering faith. Her favorite song was called "Well Done" and she always said that she hopes one day to hear the Lord say,  "Well done, my good and faithful servant."

Vicky was joined in holy matrimony to Mr. Earl Lee Collins. She was preceded in death by her parents: Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lee Porter; and five brothers: Bruce McKinzie, Ray Porter, Ricky Porter, Larry Pickett and Albert Earl Porter.

Vicky went home to be with the Lord on December 1, 2025 at 4:31 pm. She leaves to cherish her memories her two brothers: Charles Brady of Byram, MS and Tony Frazier of Detroit, MI; four sisters: Stephanie(Charles) Porter of Hazlehurst, MS., Bobbie Porter, Terricita Pickett and Stephanie Minor of Crystal Springs, MS; cousin, Belinda McKinzie of Indianapolis; four daughters: Tasha Porter, Cassandra Porter, Kimberly Skaggs and Merika Skaggs; one son: Jarrod(Shauwanda) Porter, all of Crystal Springs, MS; twelve grandchildren: Kiara Porter, Sandrameika Porter, Latashia Porter, Trene' Byther, Altranesia Skaggs, Jakavious Porter, Johnavious Porter, Jakiya Benson, Shabrea Tillman, Kaliyah Skaggs and Deandrea Tillman, Jr.; she also leaves behind six great grandchildren: a host of nieces, Tiara Allen-Davis, Shameka Smith, Sereah Pickett, Pearl Braddy, Cherelle Braddy, Leslie Braddy and Akeatra Murray; nephews :Cedric McKinzie, Anthony Porter, Howard Porter, William Braddy and Darius Pickett; and a host of other family members and friends.
