Willie Mosley Davis, Sr. affectionately known as “Ninnie”, peacefully closed his eyes & went to be with the Lord on July 20, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at UMMC Hospital, in Jackson, MS. Mr. Davis was born on February 10, 1948 to the late Bay Fitzgerald Davis and Lucille Mosley.
Willie was preceded in death by his parents, three daughters, one son, two grandsons, two brothers & three sisters.
On May 18, 2000, Willie was united in Holy Matrimony to Mary Louise Brown- Jordan. To this union no kids were born.
Willie leaves to cherish his memories: a devoted wife of 25 years, Mary Davis; four sons, Willie (Sharon) Davis of Chicago, Illinois, Andre Johnson of Vancouver,Washington, Christopher Kelly of Chicago, Illinois, C.L. Jordan, Jr. of Jackson, Mississippi; eight daughters, Veronica Johnson of Vancouver, Washington, Kianna Kelly of Hyde Park, Illinois, Tawanda Kelly of Chicago, Shannon Bennett of Memphis, Tennessee Sharon Willis, Sheila Ragsdale, Mary Jordan, April Jordan all of Jackson, Mississippi; sister-in-law, Willie Lee (John) White of Raymond, Mississippi; twenty-eight grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; one sister, Laura Scott and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
